New Tribes Mission

ASSISTING THE GROWTH OF THE GUAYMI, BUGLERE, EMBERÁ, AND KUNA CHURCHES
A Short Summary of the Guaymí mission work
The work began in 1953 when NTM missionaries started teaching of God's love. Soon a small group put their faith in Christ. The Gospel has spread over the mountains until today it is reported that there are 100 churches among the Guaymi people.
Presently there are eight Guaymi couples working among their own people as missionaries. But there remains much to be done, in a tribe that numbers around 200,000. Guaymi believers now have the New Testament in their own language, Bible lessons, and a good hymnal.
