Our Organist, Jake Troy
The beautiful music that is heard each Sunday during church service is provided for us by our organist, Jake Troy. Jake is also our choir director and has a strong desire to enlarge the existing choir so that our spiritual musical offerings will include responses and anthems.
Jake is a Music Education major at Central Connecticut State University and will be graduating with the class of 2011.
While he was a student at Ledyard High School he was involved in most of the available outlets for music; Jazz Band; Vocal accompanist for Vocal Jazz and Ledyard chorus and a representative to the Ledyard Music Council and has received many awards for his excellent participation in the area of Music Arts.
He has experience as a church organist, playing for services, weddings and funerals. As a tenor he has participated in many local choral presentations.
